Position: Assistant Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised, and results-driven Assistant Camp Manager to oversee the curriculum planning, execution, and daily operations of our camps. This role requires a strong balance of administrative expertise, leadership in team management, and hands-on involvement in day-to-day camp activities.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, managing camp leaders, overseeing event planning, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative programming.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum, Programme & Administrative Management

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of structured camp curricula grounded in Social-Emotional Learning, experiential education, and age-appropriate developmental needs.


  • Ensure all programmes include clear learning outcomes, progression frameworks, and engaging, evidence-informed activities.


  • Oversee logistics including venue coordination, procurement of materials, and scheduling.

  • Monitor and optimise operational processes to improve programme quality and consistency across camps.


2. Business Development & Growth
  • Identify and establish partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to expand the camp's reach.
  • Develop compelling proposals and strategic plans for new business opportunities.
  • Conceptualise and execute initiatives to enhance brand visibility and enrollment.

3. Leadership & Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise camp leaders, ensuring they adhere to program objectives and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality staff standards.
  • Develop clear guidelines and standard operating procedures for camp staff.

4. Camp Operations & Parent Engagement
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the camp, ensuring a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
  • Manage parent communications, including real-time updates and handling concerns through group chats and other communication channels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for families.

5. Event Planning & Execution
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute events with external partners (e.g., SummerFest, Easter Event, others)
  • Plan and manage special events, workshops, and themed camp days to enhance participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and drive participation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with children in educational, camp, enrichment, or similar youth-centred environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, programme development, and child-centred pedagogy.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Proven track record in event planning, team supervision, or camp management.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for parent and staff engagement.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and digital tools for programme planning and marketing.
  • Passionate about working with children and creating meaningful, transformative experiences.
