We are seeking a highly motivated and talented (senior) scientist to join our team in the development of next-generation quantumsensing technologies based on squeezed light. The successful candidate will join the Quantum Sensing and Metrology (QSM) Pillar of the A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC). The position offers opportunities to collaborate both internally and externally and contribute to cutting-edge experimentalquantum optics.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop squeezed light source
• Conduct experimental and/or theoretical research in quantum sensing using squeezedlight
• Collaborate with international collaborators
• Development of the use cases of squeezed light
• Publish research results in journals and contribute to reporting

Requirements:

• PhD in physics, quantum optics, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in either CV or DV quantum optics platforms.
• Familiarity with quantum optics experiments such as squeezed light, spontaneous parametricdown-conversion, etc.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamwork mindset.
• Experience in any of the following is a plus (but not mandatory): (1) Experimental optics, particularlyquantum optics and/or (2) Programming in Python, Mathematica,MATLAB, LabVIEW, or COMSOL
