A-Level English Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced GCE A-Level English Teacher to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in delivering the A Level curriculum with a focus on language analysis, literary criticism, and advanced writing techniques, while fostering intellectual curiosity and exam readiness. A special focus on supporting international students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the Cambridge/Edexcel Secondary, IGCSE, and A-Level syllabuses.

• Prepare students for international examinations, including Cambridge/Edexcel Checkpoints, IGCSE, and A-Level assessments.

• Develop high-quality lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and teaching materials.

• Monitor and track students' progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

• Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, professional development, and school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in English, Education with provenexperience teaching GCE A Level General Paper and English (minimum 3 years preferred).

• Recognised teaching qualification preferred (e.g., PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or MOE-recognised teaching certification).

• Strong instructional delivery, effective classroom management, and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Specialisation in delivering Cambridge/Edexcel IGCSE to A-Level English curriculum (full-time teachers).
