The Service Manager will lead and manage the regional service organisation, overseeing service operations, customer support, team management, resource planning, and ensuring high service quality for customers across Asia.

The Service Manager will lead and manage the regional service organisation, overseeing service operations, customer support, team management, resource planning, and ensuring high service quality for customers across Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Service Engineering team across Asia.
- Plan and coordinate service activities: installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency support.
- Ensure timely and high-quality after-sales support to semiconductor and electronics manufacturing customers.
- Manage customer relationships, handle escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Drive improvement of service workflows, SOPs, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee spare parts inventory, service tools, and resource scheduling.
- Collaborate closely with German HQ on technical updates, product issues, training, and escalations.
- Support sales team in pre-sales activities (technical meetings, site readiness, service proposals).
- Track service KPIs, performance metrics, and prepare monthly/quarterly reports.
- Travel within Asia to support customers and oversee regional operations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Physics, or related).
- 8+ years in semiconductor equipment service, field support, or maintenance engineering.
- Experience in team leadership, service coordination, or regional service management.
- Strong technical understanding of complex inspection or metrology equipment.
- Excellent communication, customer-handling skills, and ability to work across multiple Asian countries.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Asia region.
