Our client in the Energy industry is seeking a Tax Manager to support in their regional business expansion throughout APAC. The incumbent will be a sole contributor, with plans of expanding the team in the future.

Role:

• Oversee all tax matters for Asia Pacific, including tax compliance, transfer pricing, planning, and advisory
• Develop and implement tax strategies regionally
• Monitor tax risks and provide recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders for daily operations and project plannings
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance across all jurisdictions
• Manage tax audits, working alongside external consultants and relevant authorities
• Design and maintain compliant transfer pricing policies, ensuring that regulations are kept to
• Provide guidance on complex tax issues and upskill regional teams on tax regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation
• International exposure will be advantageous
• 8-10 years of relevant tax experience
• Background from Big 4 will be preferable
• Knowledge of renewable energy tax will be a bonus
• Travel when required
