Purpose of the Job

The Tendering Manager is responsible to undertake the processing and support of PPR & PSC orders in accordance with customer and Sulzer requirements.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibility for processing and management of customer orders, including customer order review, confirmation of compliance to Sulzer tender, commercial review, letter of credit, bonds and order entry to ERP system with deadlines
2. Liaison with customer, agents, Sales and Tendering for order clarification as appropriate
3. Issue of order acknowledgement to customer.
4. Liaison with Operations for order execution as appropriate
5. Status update on order progress for customers
6. Responsibility to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied whilst meeting Sulzer objectives
7. Ensure the timely handover of order related documentation to Operations, Engineering etc. appropriate
8. Work within guidelines & procedures in accordance with Sulzer policies and regulations
9. Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement
10. Carry out invoicing in accordance with contractual terms and follow-up consistently on the payment status
11. Responsible on weekly and monthly Order Intake report

All other duties as relevant to the PPR & PSC function

Education requirements:

• Degree in engineering, science or business discipline and/or

Job experience:

• Relevant experience within related industry

• Experience of dealing with complex tenders

• Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment

• Staff management experience

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Words)

• Incoterms 2020

• SAP

• Salesforce
