Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative Duties

  • Handling day-to-day office operations (emails, phone calls, documentation).
  • Preparing project-related paperwork-work orders, purchase orders, delivery notes.
  • Maintaining employee attendance, site labour records, and assisting with payroll.
  • Coordinating with site engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Organizing meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Managing contract files, tender documents, and project correspondence.

2. Accounting Tasks

  • Recording daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP).
  • Handling accounts payable & receivable (invoices, supplier bills, follow-up for payments).
  • Preparing GST/VAT reports, bank reconciliation statements.
  • Assisting in budgeting and cost control for projects.
  • Monitoring petty cash, site purchases, and material expenses.
  • Supporting monthly/quarterly financial closing.

Required Skills
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, SAP, etc.).
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terms (BOQ, material logs, subcontractor bills).
