Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end construction of manufacturing buildings, ensuring adherence to approved design, GMP requirements, and all relevant safety standards.
- Oversee and coordinate contractors, ensuring construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Monitor site progress, identify and resolve construction conflicts, and manage interfaces with adjacent buildings, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and validation teams to resolve technical issues and maintain overall project progress.
- Lead construction planning, progress reviews, risk assessments, and issue-resolution meetings with stakeholders and contractors.
- Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of Construction Turnover Documentation (CTOD) to support mechanical completion and handover milestones.
- Drive quality assurance in construction execution, including inspection readiness, punch-list management, and closure of construction activities.
- Enforce safety culture onsite, ensuring compliance with project HSE policies, method statements, and risk management plans.
- Manage changes, variations, and construction-related technical queries, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows.
- Support commissioning and start-up teams during system handover and functional performance activities to ensure smooth transition from construction to commissioning.
