The Immunotherapeutics Engineering group at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) has an open position for biologics drug discovery research. Our current focus covers areas ranging from cancers and inflammation. We are looking for a highly motivated and hard working researcher to join the group at the Senior Research Officer level. The candidate will be involved in monoclonal antibodies discovery, bi- and multi-specific antibody engineering, biophysical characterization, biochemical and cell-based assays, and evaluation of the therapeutic effects in animal models.

Job description:

• Discover antibodies against cancer and immune targets using the antibody discovery techniques developed in the lab
• Engineer antibodies into various formats
• Express and purify recombinant antibodies
• Perform biochemical, biophysical and cell-based assays to characterize the functions of the antibodies
• Perform in vivo characterization of the antibodies in the mouse models
• Record, analyze and present data

The successful candidate should have a Bachelors degree with at least 7 years work experience or Masters degree with at least 5 years work experience in life science research with proficient and extensive skills in:

• Molecular cloning techniques
• Mammalian cell culture
• Recombinant protein expression and purification
• Protein characterization such as thermal stability, qPCR-based applications
• Immunological assays
