Work location: Central

Working hours: 5.5 days work week (Mon - Fri and half Sat), office hours.

• Will be rostered off on 1 Saturday per month. Sundays and PH off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality CT scans in accordance with established protocols, including CT Coronary Angiography and post-processing of cardiac images using advanced software tools.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety - explain procedures clearly to patients, obtain informed consent where necessary, and monitor for any adverse reactions to contrast media.
• Perform image reconstruction, 3D post-processing, and multi-planar reformatting to aid in accurate diagnosis. Work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic requirements.
• Operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on CT equipment. Report and document any malfunctions or irregularities promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
• Liaise with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, optimize workflow, and ensure timely delivery of imaging reports.
• Guide and mentor junior radiographers, and participate in continuous professional development initiatives within the department.

Key Requirements:

• AHPC certified with recognized Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Min 2-3 years experience as a Radiographer with specialised skills in CT.
• Knowledge of NGEMR, Epic usage and RISPACS would be an additional advantage.
• Service orientated and customer focused.
