Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Maintenance Technician to support the engineering, maintenance, and utilities operations of Opto-Pharm's production machinery and facility equipment. This role works closely with the Engineering Engineer and is supported by a team of production technicians to conduct machine improvement, mould servicing, routine maintenance, and parts repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily routine maintenance, greasing, mould servicing, and equipment checks as assigned by the Engineering Engineer or Manager.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure timely machine start-up.
• Update and maintain machine checklists, breakdown records, and equipment servicing logs.
• Conduct weekly checks on spare parts inventory and report to supervisor.
• Support preventive maintenance, parts repair, and general machine improvement activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the engineering workshop daily.
• Assist in weekly servicing of cleanroom machines, automation equipment, air-conditioning systems, and cooling tower equipment.
• Support contractors during weekend maintenance work when required.

Requirements

• ITC/NTC certification or technical qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in engineering, maintenance, or workshop operations.
• Hands-on skills in troubleshooting, machine servicing, and equipment repair.
• Fast learner, self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Good behaviour, positive working attitude, and strong teamwork.
• Willing to work on weekends when required for maintenance or contractor activities.
