Ray Tech offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic professional to join our organization as an M&A Manager. This role plays a key part in driving Ray Tech's corporate growth agenda through the development and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.

Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will bring a blend of analytical rigor, financial acumen, and strategic insight to lead or support full-cycle M&A activities, working closely with senior executives across business units and regions.

Position Scope

What You Can Expect:
As the M&A Manager, you will be responsible for leading or facilitating Ray Tech's end-to-end M&A processes - from strategic planning and deal sourcing to execution and post-merger integration. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Strategy & M&A, C-suite executives, and global and regional business leaders to identify and execute strategic opportunities that drive the company's non-organic growth, both in Singapore, China and internationally.

You will also serve as the regional M&A ambassador, accountable for supporting the company's year-over-year inorganic growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support the full M&A lifecycle - from strategic planning, target identification, financial evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, to post-merger integration.
• Collaborate with C-suite and senior business leaders to define strategic objectives, assess market trends, and identify potential acquisition or partnership opportunities.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning to support investment decisions.
• Work with external advisers, consultants, and legal teams to execute transactions effectively.
• Prepare and present M&A proposals, business cases, and recommendations to the investment and steering committees for approval.
• Act as a key liaison between corporate functions and business units to ensure smooth integration of acquired entities.
• Serve as a finance business partner to senior management on strategic issues, providing insights and analysis to inform long-term growth initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional strategic projects and provide recommendations to drive business performance and operational efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate development, investment projects, or financial advisory, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Solid experience in managing complex transactions from origination to integration.
• Candidates from investment banking or Big 4 corporate finance backgrounds with relevant industry experience are welcome.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• High level of integrity, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
