Roles & Responsibilities
- Support daily kitchen operations for both café and bar service
- Prepare and / or produce pastries, including cheesecakes, and other baked items
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety standards at all times
- Manage ingredient preparation, storage, stock rotation, and basic inventory tracking
- Ensure consistency in presentation and product quality
- Collaborate with the team to support smooth service flow
- Contribute ideas for new food and menu development where relevant
Expectations
- Prior experience in kitchens or pastry production is preferred
- Strong understanding of basic culinary methods and food hygiene standards
- Good time management and ability to handle fast-paced service periods
- Consistent and reliable work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn and improve
- Flexibility to support daytime and occasional evening operations as needed
- Able to work independently
