What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook signature Japanese dishes with accuracy and speed
• Guide, encourage, and support the kitchen crew during peak hours
• Work closely with the Head Chef on quality control, menu plans, and kitchen flow
• Maintain top-tier hygiene and safety practices every day
• Ensure each dish is visually polished and flavour-true to our brand
• Keep prep, storage, and work areas organised and ready for service

Who You Are

You're someone who treats the kitchen like a craft studio: disciplined, curious, and always hungry to grow.

You'll likely bring:

• 2+ years working in a professional kitchen (bonus if it's Japanese cuisine)
• Solid understanding of prep, tools, and cooking methods
• Calm, steady leadership even during intense service
• A teamwork mindset with respect for everyone in the kitchen
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
• A strong desire to level up your culinary skills and career

• Schedule: 5 or 6 days weekly
• Compensation: Up to $3,200, based on experience
