Job Description

Reporting to the Global Tax Head, you will:

• Oversee the full spectrum of tax matters across APAC, including advisory, planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and customs planning
• Collaborate with global finance leaders to implement tax strategies, mitigate risks, and optimise tax savings
• Ensure robust tax reporting and compliance frameworks, including BEPS Pillar Two implementation and audit readiness
• Structure operations to meet tax incentive conditions and liaise with authorities to maximise benefits
• Lead tax planning for market expansion, M&A, and cross-border transactions
• Manage tax controversy and dispute resolution, including settlement strategy and post-audit remediation
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on the company's operating model

The Successful Applicant

• Degree qualified in Accounting, with at least 12 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory across the APAC region
• Strong foundation built with a Big 4 accounting firm, followed by in-house experience with MNC, preferably from industrial or manufacturing sector
• Proven track record leading senior leadership through successful M&A and international expansion initiatives
• Technically strong, with deep understanding and application of regional tax legislation and international tax principles
• Demonstrates a self-starter mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities
