Basic requirements:

1. Master Degree from a world famous university/music conservatory is a must. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MASTER DEGREE IN PIANO!

2. This is a full-time job which need you to work on both weekend days, 9am-9pm.

3. You must be very familiar with Sibelius, (Ultimate edition). 10 years of Sibelius editing experience is a must.

We are looking for a senior editor to help to organize our own teaching syllabus.

The applicant should be very familiar with the music history, especially Baroque and Classical period. For Romantic period, the applicant should be able to give live demo on Chopin, Liszt, and Mendelssohn.

For other period, applicant should be able to organize the pieces arranged in different style.

We are expecting a curriculum with wide variety of styles offers the best in effectiveness and student engagement.

During 3 years, the editor would be able to deliver 6 sets of books, from Level 6 to Level 10 (Senior department, ABRSM or Trinity exam based syllabus). Each set would have 2 books, Performance Book and Lesson Book.

Lesson Book: Introduces and reinforces musical concepts with engaging and pianistic music. Covering 4 period in music history, the book should introduce one composer in each unit, with a detailed introduction on the style, technique, fingering and composition background. Attached with one master piece from that composer, the syllabus would be able to give students a rounded idea of music.

Performance Book: Well-rounded repertoire that supports the concepts learned in Lesson Book. The applicant should be able to play the details in the piece.

Daily Job:

• Edit advanced course syllabus for piano teaching and performance.
• Plan and lead students to perform well in international, Piano exams and performances or competitions.
• International Piano Competition Award winners are highly appreciated
