Job Summary

Marsden Swim School seeks passionate swimming instructors (Or passionate people, qualification can be provided) to deliver safe, engaging lessons for babies, children, and adults, following a structured curriculum and fostering confidence and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and safe swimming lessons for babies, children, and adults across various skill levels, following Marsden Swim School's structured curriculum and safety protocols
• Provide clear, regular progress feedback to students and parents through the customer portal to support learning and improvement
• Manage and coordinate class schedules, communicating effectively with the operations team to ensure smooth lesson delivery
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment that supports student confidence and skill growth
• Demonstrate professionalism and punctuality in all coaching duties and interactions
• Participate in in-house training to develop coaching skills and knowledge

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Passion for teaching and working with children and adults in a swim school environment
• Ability to lead classes independently or with support, showing confidence and reliability
• Effective communication skills in English to engage students, parents, and team members
• Flexibility to work weekday afternoons and weekends as scheduling requires
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in teaching swimming as a life skill
• Austswim certification can be provided by us

Pay flexible at $40-$50 per hour (Generally shifts are between 2 - 4 hours, on weekends can do 2 shifts in a day)
