We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to explore innovative solutions for enhancing the health and immune resistance of fish in barramundi production ( Lates calcarifer ): vaccination efficiency, role of immunostimulants, pathogen challenges, animal trial management, fish transcriptomics and phenotyping.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on fish health
• Manage deliverable-based projects in aquaculture health
• Maintain regular discussion with local farmers and industry stakeholders to design solutions that are compatible with farming requirements

Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Aquaculture Health, Nutrition or Genetics
• At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
