- Preparation & Mise en Place: Execute daily preparation tasks for all menu items, including sauces, sides (comfort food focus), and ingredient breakdown, minimizing wastage.
- Quality & Consistency: Adhere strictly to Armoury's standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to maintain our premium and consistent guest experience.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station at all times, strictly following NEA and internal food safety regulations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with all kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth, efficient, and fast-paced service during high-volume periods (including our popular steak buffet program).
- Inventory: Assist in stock taking, receiving, and proper storage of all food items, paying close attention to the handling of premium ingredients like Wagyu.
Requirements
- Proven ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure in a high-volume, premium casual dining environment.
- Knowledge of meat preparation, butchery, and grilling techniques is a significant advantage.
- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety & Hygiene certification.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
