Role: Medical Interpreter (Mandarin Speaker) or (Cantonese Speaker) /

Remote Language Support Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) or (Cantonese Speaker)

Language Proficiency: C1 Mandarin/Cantonese + B2/C1 English

Working Days: Monday-Sunday (rotational 2 days off day)

Working Hours: Fixed midnight shift (Supporting US market)

Working Model : 100% work from home

Other Information:

* Rotating permanent night shifts could be: 9pm-6am, 10pm-7am, 11pm-8am, or

7pm to 3am (with 1 hour break)

* TP will provide hardware, e.g. laptop and headset to employee

* Employee need to make sure that their internet connection speed at home is

minimum 100MBPS

Responsibilities:

* Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individual with

language barrier to understand and communicate to each other

* Handling telephone or video calls on demand and renders meaning of

conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of

English

* Processes information quickly and concisely, recognizes sensitive cultural

differences, and is always professional and courteous

* The interpreter will use appropriate industry terminology and understand

common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or

complex, non-technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government,

Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services,

Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.

Requirements:

* Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of

accuracy

* Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain

neutral and objective

* Ability to quickly establish personal credibility

* Ability to follow client's instructions closely

* Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication

* with the permission or at request of the client

* B2 CEFR English Level bilingual with other required languages

* Able to work from home on a permanent basis
