Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am - 4:30pm (inclusive of 45 min lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:00am - 4:00pm (inclusive of 45 min lunch break)
• Exam Periods: May be required to stay until 6:00pm (extra hours may be offset later)
• Off days: Saturdays, Sundays & gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing utensils and ingredients for practical lessons and examinations
• Support students in distributing and organizing ingredients and utensils during lessons
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the Nutrition and Food Science rooms, utensils, and equipment
• Clear fridges of unwanted/spoilt/expired food and wipe shelves regularly
• Check and ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition after sessions
• Secure the NFS rooms when not in use
• Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly
• Assist in stocktaking of utensils and equipment
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the school

Requirements

• Able to understand simple English and Mandarin
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Familiar with kitchen appliances and general kitchen safety practices
• Possess a valid WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team
