Job Summary:

We're looking for an energetic, media-savvyPublic Relations Manager to elevate our brand presence in the fitness and wellness industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health, fitness, and active lifestyles - and a strong background in marketing communications, storytelling, and media relations.

This role combines creative communication strategy with community engagement to strengthen our reputation, connect with audiences, and drive brand loyalty across digital and physical touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR strategies that promote the company's fitness products, services, and community programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fitness journalists, health editors, influencers, and media outlets.
• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and feature stories highlighting company initiatives, partnerships, and success stories.
• Coordinate media events, fitness challenges, influencer collaborations, and sponsorship activations.
• Serve as a brand spokespersonand manage communications during product launches or public-facing events.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR messaging with social media, content marketing, and advertising efforts.
• Identify fitness trends and opportunities to position the brand as a thought leader in the health and wellness space.
• Develop and oversee community outreach and CSR initiatives related to fitness, health education, or wellness advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand marketing - preferably in the fitness, health, wellness, or lifestyle industry.
• Strong media network within the fitness, sports, or wellness sectors is a plus.
• Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience managing press events, influencer partnerships, or product launch campaigns.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for fitness, health, and wellness is essential.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with fitness industry tools and platforms (e.g., Mindbody, Class Pass, or similar).
• Experience working with fitness influencers or brand ambassadors.
• Visual storytelling or basic content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
• Background in crisis management or reputation strategy.
