JOB SCOPE
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Evaluate and record supplier information and quotation data.
- Handle inquiries, price negotiations, and ordering of components.
- Manage import customs clearance and related tasks for overseas procurement.
- Handle issues related to defective or non-conforming delivered components.
- Act as the liaison with Project Managers from the Engineering Department for procurement and subcontracting matters.
- Monitor procurement and subcontracting progress and handle any exceptions or delays.
- Develop and establish relationships with qualified suppliers.
- Establish benchmark unit prices for various subcontracted work items.
- Verify and process payment requests for purchased goods and subcontracted work
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma holder in any field.
- At least 1 year experience as a purchaser.
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Applications).
