The Mailroom Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing all mailroom operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This role involves maintaining records, supervising mailroom staff, and ensuring compliance to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mail Handling and Distribution:Oversee the receipt, sorting, and distribution of all incoming mail and packages.
• Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintain detailed logs and records of all mailroom activities, including incoming and outgoing mail.
  Prepare and submit monthly reports on mailroom operations, costs, and performance metrics.
• Supervision and Staff Management:Oversees the deployment of staff: plan, direct and coordinate staff activities/duties daily
  Ensure that staff are well trained, cross trained and re-trained for continuous improvements in operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  Supervise mailroom staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  Develop and maintain all SOPs and Operation Manuals.
• Inventory and Supplies Management:Manage inventory of mailroom supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  Oversee the maintenance and servicing of mailroom equipment.
• Compliance and Security:Ensure mailroom operations comply with postal regulations and company policies.
  Implement security measures to protect sensitive and confidential information.
  Compile and maintain monthly clients reports for data analysis
  Ensure and verify all invoices/reports are submitted for timely billing/processing.
