Project Officer
  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri (Hybrid)
  • Location: Central
  • Remuneration: Up to $3,500 + AWS

Key Responsibilities

The Project Officer will provide day-to-day technical support and assist in the planning and implementation of ICT operations and projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Primary Duties
  • Deliver timely technical support to end-users and ensure ICT readiness for operational needs.
  • Provide on-site and remote support during business events and key operational activities.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of ICT equipment, including procurement, setup, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Administer user accounts and maintain inventory and asset management systems.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of ICT-related initiatives and improvements.

Functional Areas
  1. Project Coordination - Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking ICT projects and operational tasks.
  2. User and Stakeholder Management - Provide responsive support, manage expectations, and maintain clear communication with users.
  3. Vendor Management - Liaise with vendors to ensure timely provisioning, maintenance, and resolution of service requests.
  4. Operational Event Support - Coordinate and support ICT setups and operations during business or organizational events.
  5. Inventory and Asset Management - Maintain accurate records of ICT equipment, perform audits, and manage logistics.
  6. Budget Tracking - Support budgeting activities by monitoring ICT-related expenses and verifying invoices.
  7. Incident Management - Provide first-level support and escalate complex technical issues to relevant teams.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in technical support, ICT asset management, and user account administration is an advantage.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
