Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Supervise and inspect viaduct or tunnel construction works to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor site progress and quality of works carried out by contractors.
- Conduct site inspections, maintain daily records, and prepare site reports.
- Assist the Resident Engineer in coordinating construction activities.
- Verify contractors' submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals.
- Ensure that all site works adhere to workplace safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in viaduct, tunnel, or large-scale infrastructure projects (LTA or equivalent).
- Familiar with relevant local codes, specifications, and authority procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
