Responsibilities:

• \tPerform as a safety assessor role for the Permit-To-Work system

• \tInspect and rectify any unsafe place of work and unsafe practices.

• \tCheck sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory Acts and Regulations.

• \tLiaison with sub-contractors with respect to safety work undertaken by them.

• \tAssist the WSHO in organizing safety awareness activities such as toolbox meetings, safety orientation, safety- related training, safety promotional activities, etc.

• \tEnsure that the issuance of personal protective equipment is properly recorded and documented.

• \tEnsure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.

• \tAssist to investigate all site incidents/accidents & implement corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.

• \tEstablishing emergency preparedness procedures in collaboration with Police, Emergency Response, Medical Services and interfacing contractors.

• \tEnforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.

Job Requirement

• \tMinimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in the LTA project/ building construction industry.

• \tPossess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes, Confined space, and Work at Height Assessor certificates

• \tAble to work independently with a positive attitude

• \tPossess good leadership and organizing abilities

• \tAble to join with short notice
