We are partnering a reputable shipping company to source for a Facilities Manager to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the strategic planning, daily management, and performance of all facility operations to maintain smooth and uninterrupted business functions.
• Protect essential infrastructure assets while ensuring facilities align with the organization's long-term operational goals.
• Design and execute comprehensive facilities management plans, including preventive maintenance schedules and initiatives that enhance cost efficiency.
• Lead large-scale improvement efforts such as office renovations, relocations, and sustainability-focused upgrades.
• Work closely with departments like HR, IT, HSE, and business units to ensure facilities operations support changing organizational needs.
• Present clear and concise reports on facilities performance and technical matters to senior leadership to support effective decision-making.
• Promote ongoing process improvements in areas such as vendor management, energy optimization, and efficient use of workspace.
• Establish standardized procedures and documentation to improve operational consistency and compliance.
• Oversee the performance of third-party service providers responsible for maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping, waste disposal, and other building-related services.
• Manage contracts and procurement processes for facility services, including vendor selection, evaluation, and performance tracking.
• Ensure all operations comply with local building codes, fire safety standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Keep all facility risk assessments, business continuity strategies, and emergency response plans current and effective.
