Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of experienced Executives in managing the building operations and facilities, including outsourcing services (M&E system, cleaners, security, landscapes and pest control etc.)
• Manage, supervise, and check the quality of work delivered by the team and vendors. Ensure that routine maintenance works and services are carried out according to contract requirements.
• Prepare management reports, contract reviews, and vendor performance evaluations.
• Prepare, call, evaluate, and administer quotations and tenders for preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and replacement works, services, and supplies.
• Drive sustainable initiatives with a good understanding of Green Mark/bizSAFE requirements and standards.
• As the Subject Matter Expert on fire safety requirements contained in Emergency Response Plan (ERP) are complied with, and oversight of the daily checks and removal of any fire hazards found.
• Conduct fire evacuation drills and tabletop exercises in compliance with SCDF's regulations, including CERT training and audit by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
• Budget control and yearly preparation of budget for Operations and Capital Expenditures
• Liaise with all relevant authorities on the Building, apply and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates. Manage and maintain proper records, files, correspondence and documents.
• Maintain good rapport with tenants and manage all tenancy matters, including fit-out/renovation/reinstatement and their feedback and requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Facilities / Building Services / Building Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 7 years of working experience as Building Manager / Facility Manager for commercial buildings, healthcare / labs environment.
• Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager by SCDF.
• Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety systems, WSH standards, and emergency preparedness frameworks.
• Strong leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
• Good team player and able to work independently
