What you'll be doing

• Lead the fire safety operations and ensure full compliance with relevant codes, regulations
• Oversee the implementation and enforcement of fire safety measures, daily inspections, and prompt rectification of potential hazards
• Drive effective contract management and performance oversight of fire safety systems, ensuring seamless coordination with governing authorities
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises; provide training to internal stakeholders and facility occupants
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure infrastructure design and operational practices support resilient emergency response capabilities
• Support the institution's division in training, testing, and refining the hospital's crisis management framework
• Serve as the subject matter expert on fire safety and emergency preparedness, providing strategic and technical guidance to management and project teams

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Safety, or related engineering studies
• 7 - 10 years of similar working experience
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with proven experience in large-scale institutional or healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of SCDF regulations, emergency response planning, and crisis management protocols
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
