Overview: Technology powers both our creativity and our operations. The IT Manager ensures IMBA's theatre and attraction ecosystem runs on robust, seamless, and secure digital infrastructure.
In addition to managing all venue and enterprise IT systems, this role leads data and analytics development-including a cloud-based Power BI project for ticketing, retail, and F&B performance-and serves as the internal cybersecurity liaison, coordinating with our CTO-as-a-Service partners to safeguard IMBA's data, assets, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure & Venue Systems

Oversee all IT infrastructure, networks, and AV/creative-tech systems powering IMBA Theatre and connected sites.

Manage hardware/software procurement, deployment, and lifecycle.

Ensure system uptime, reliability, and smooth vendor coordination across theatre operations and shared-service systems.

2. Cybersecurity (CTO-as-a-Service)

Act as the primary liaison between IMBA and contracted cybersecurity partners.

Ensure vendors deliver on CTO-as-a-Service obligations-policies, monitoring, and incident response.

Coordinate penetration testing, security audits, and risk assessments.

Track compliance with PDPA and report IMBA's security posture to management.

3. Data Analytics & Cloud Infrastructure Project

Lead the design, development, and deployment of IMBA's cloud-based Power BI analytics suite, integrating ticketing, retail, and F&B data sources.

Core Scope:

Cloud Infrastructure:

Set up secure Microsoft Azure environment with virtual machines or containers for Python ETL scripts, data storage, Power BI gateway, automated scheduling, access controls, and backups.

Dashboard Development:

Build and deploy three interactive Power BI dashboards:

Ticket Sales (vendor integration)

Retail (POS or ERP integration)

F&B (POS data integration)

Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (Python ETL pipelines).

Define KPIs, perform user testing, and deliver documentation and staff training.

Outcome: Provide management with self-service analytics, real-time insights, and data-driven decision support.

4. Operations & Support

Provide Tier 2/3 IT support to internal teams and ensure vendor SLA adherence.

Manage helpdesk ticketing, escalation, and resolution workflows.

Conduct staff training on system use and digital security awareness.

5. Strategic & Growth Initiatives

Scale IT operations with IMBA's expansion and digital-first initiatives.

Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.

Partner with vendors to future-proof IMBA's digital security and analytics architecture.

Preferred Attributes

Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.

6-8 years of IT management experience, with proven leadership in cybersecurity and data-analytics implementation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Python (ETL), and API integration.

Strong grasp of cybersecurity tools, governance, and vendor-management best practices.

Proven ability to balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic oversight.

Excellent communication skills-able to translate complex IT concepts into practical terms for creative and operational teams.

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with passion for building secure, resilient, and data-driven systems that empower creativity and innovation.
