Job Description:
  • Perform day-to-day contract management activities, including correspondence, notifications, and maintenance of contract records and documentation.
  • Review and comment on contract and tender documentation to identify risks, qualifications, and deviations from standard/acceptable terms.
  • Identify, prepare, and submit variations, ensuring timely valuation, negotiation, and agreement with clients or main contractors.
  • Draft, review, and issue contractual letters and notices in accordance with contract requirements and timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of claims for extension of time (EOT), disruption, and additional costs, including supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications, monitor payment status, and assist with the resolution of payment disputes.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports on contract-related matters.
  • Conduct contract reviews and negotiate terms both upstream and downstream.
  • Administer all notices relating to time bars.
  • Provide strategic advice on contract-related risks, disputes, and resolution strategies.
  • Adhere to the Group's Contract Management plan and protocols.
  • Represent the company professionally in all contractual matters, including insurance, EOT, variations, claims, and account submissions, achieving mutually satisfactory outcomes.
  • Support dispute resolution, working closely with project teams, legal advisors, and external consultants as necessary.
  • Manage subcontractors and sub-subcontractors effectively and fairly.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of local and international standard forms of contracts.
  • The ideal candidate is autonomous, skilled in contract management and quantity surveying, and capable of communicating information fluently and concisely.

Requirements:
  • Soft Skills - Teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving.
  • Qualifications - Minimum degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience - Minimum 3 years in a contract management role in the construction industry.
