Description:
Requirement:
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, relevant regulations, Client in-house requirements, contractor in-house requirements etc.
- Assist in developing and maintaining WSH audit procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings; regularly review and update these reports
- Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions implemented to address audit findings.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Review or conduct investigations and report safety incidents and near misses.
- To review and communicate risk assessments and safe work procedures to ensure contractors' documents and practices are effective, legally compliant and meet site specific requirements. Observe safety meetings and toolbox talks to ensure effectiveness. Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (e.g., MOM, SCDF) as needed.
- Conduct documentation review.
- Support Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and safety campaigns.
- Support the delivery of WSH training sessions to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Undertake any additional WSH-related duties as assigned by client.
Requirement:
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Client representative in overseeing construction projects, including New Erection, Addition & Alteration, and Repairs & Redecoration projects.
- Experience in conducting HSE audits, inspections, and independent compliance monitoring as a client representative.
- Experienced in leading incident/near-miss investigations and ensuring robust root cause analysis with actionable preventive measures.
- Strong ability to liaise with main-contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (MOM, SCDF), and to represent the client's safety position effectively in meetings and site engagements.
- Ability to act independently, enforce compliance, and stop unsafe work when representing the client's interests
- Working Days : Monday to Saturday: 0800 to 1730 Hours
