Job Summary

The Junior Operations Controller supports the daily coordination of mobile crane operations.
This role assists in scheduling cranes and manpower, liaising with operators and clients, and ensuring operational and safety requirements are met.
Suitable for candidates new to crane or construction operations with willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Support

Assist in planning and coordinating daily crane deployment schedules
Support assignment of cranes, operators, riggers, and lifting supervisors
Update job status, crane movements, and daily operation records
Assist in handling ad-hoc changes and operational requests

• Client & Site Coordination

Communicate with clients and site personnel on job confirmation and arrangements
Relay site instructions to operators and internal teams
Assist in follow-up on job completion and feedback

• Safety & Compliance Support

Assist in checking validity of operators' licences, certificates, SSIC, and medicals
Support submission of RA, SWP, lifting plans, and MOS
Ensure cranes deployed have valid inspection certificates and documents

• Documentation & Administration

Prepare basic job orders, deployment sheets, and operation schedules
Maintain filing of operational and safety documents
Track attendance, working hours, and overtime records
Coordinate with maintenance, safety, HR, and finance teams for daily operationsProvide administrative support to senior operations controllers

Requirements & Qualifications

0-2 years working experience (construction or crane industry experience is an advantage)
Willingness to learn mobile crane and lifting operations
Basic understanding of workplace safety is preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word)
