The Role: Mentor, Guide, & Role Model

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic After-School Care Teacher to join our MPA team. This role is far more than just homework supervision. You will be a mentor and a facilitator, responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating "home-away-from-home" environment.

You will guide children (Primary 1 to 6) through their daily academics while also engaging them in our unique, play-inspired enrichment programs. We are looking for someone who can be an inspiring role model, demonstrating a creative spirit, patience, and a positive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Mentorship: Guide primary school children (P1-P6) to ensure the successful comprehension and completion of their daily homework and spelling.
• Holistic Program Facilitation: Implement our unique after-school curriculum, which balances structured academic time with engaging, play-inspired activities.
• Enrichment Leadership: Confidently lead in-house enrichment programs (full training and resources will be provided) that spark curiosity and new skills.
• Student Well-being: Ensure the safety, well-being, and timely transfer of all students from their school to our centre and within our premises.
• Positive Environment: Create and maintain a positive, organized, and supportive classroom environment that encourages both focused work and positive social interaction.
• Parent Partnership: Build strong, trusting relationships with children and maintain clear, professional communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress.
• Individual Support: Keep accurate records to address each child's educational and developmental needs, providing individualized support where necessary.

Who We Are Looking For

• A "People Person": You are enthusiastic, energetic, and have a positive, loving disposition. You genuinely enjoy connecting with primary-aged children.
• An Academic Guide: You are confident in all primary-level subjects and are able to effectively explain concepts and review homework.
• A Skilled Facilitator: You have strong communication and classroom management skills, able to manage a group dynamic while giving individual attention.
• Experienced (Preferred): A minimum of 1 year of experience in a student care, tuition, or enrichment industry is highly preferred.
• A "Mosaic Fit": You are a creative, inspiring role model with a positive mindset, ready to learn, grow, and contribute to a fun and professional team.
