Position Overview
The Counsellor will provide counselling services to individuals and families dealing with family relationship, marital, and divorce issues. This role includes offering information and referral services, conducting intervention programs for adults and children affected by divorce. Additionally, the candidate will manage the development and delivery of programs, including reporting and evaluation requirements, and collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
A. Casework & Counselling:
1. Maintain a reasonable caseload.
2. Identify and assess client needs, then plan and implement appropriate intervention plans.
3. Support the Centre's casework system, including administration, intake, referral, evaluation, and closure of cases.
4. Ensuring that KPIs set by MSF are met.
B. Information & Referral (I&R):
1. Provide appropriate information and referral services to individuals seeking assistance from our Centre.
2. Support the Centre's standard operating system for administration, intake, referral, outcome follow-up, and closure of Information & Referral (I&R) cases.
C. Group Work and/or Community Work Programmes Development
1. Undertake to implement mandated programmes according to MSF guidelines and ensuring that the programmes meet KPIs set.
2. Work as a team player to evaluate the mandated programmes in meeting the needs of the clients.
3. Liaise and work with organizations and partners to facilitate more effective work with individuals and families within the service boundaries.
4. Assist in the Centre's outreach to partners and SSAs within the service boundaries.
D. Other duties:
1. Undertake additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Centre Director.
