Medical Sales Representative - Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies targeting clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct client presentations and product pitches, demonstrating strong understanding of product benefits and applications.
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive client portfolio, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, specialists, and general practitioners.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients through consistent engagement and service excellence.
  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Provide product education and training to doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff, ensuring accurate product knowledge and usage.
  • Collect and report valuable market insights, customer feedback, and competitor intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve collective sales objectives and marketing goals.
  • Support and participate in marketing events, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops as directed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports and monthly sales analyses in line with company standards.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, while complying with all company policies and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or equivalent qualification (NITEC / Higher NITEC in related Business fields acceptable).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales or medical equipment promotion preferred.
  • Prior exposure to medical centers and hospitals will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer engagement.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and target-driven, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required by the role.
  • Resourceful, results-oriented, and professional, with high personal integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and analysis.
  • A confident communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
