JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5.5 day workweek
• Renumeration based on level of experience and bonuses available.
• Requirement for existing experience in paediatric nursing care

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform nursing duties including triage, obtaining vital signs, growth measurements for babies and children.
• Ensure delivery of safe and competent nursing care in compliance with nursing standards.
• Adept in performing common paediatric procedures such as vaccinations, blood taking, suction and nebulization.
• Assist doctors with the provision of treatment and patient examinations
• Maintain regular checks on drugs and clinic equipment.
• Familiarisation with common paediatric drugs and medication dispensing
• Perform reception duties including registration, dispensing medication, payment collection, appointment bookings, managing insurance claims.
• Good clinical knowledge with regard to common advice given for paediatric illnesses to assist caregivers.
• Respond to patient phonecalls for basic clinical queries.
• Participate in patient education and counselling.
• Aptitude with dealing with infants and children.
• Good communication skills with parents and high levels of customer service skills.
