Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, arrange, and follow up on Oil Major Vetting Inspections as directed.
• Attend vessels to conduct Marine Inspections, Pre-Vetting Inspections, or provide vetting assistance, ensuring all findings and follow-up actions are properly recorded and filed.
• Carry out annual onboard navigation audits (preferably during short voyages), input results into the audit database, and ensure timely closure of deficiencies.
• Serve as a member of the ASL Emergency Response Team.
• Coordinate external safety audits and onboard training sessions with appointed auditors or training providers.
• Support vessel cosmetic maintenance and upgrades (e.g., painting).
• Monitor and assist vessels, in coordination with Operations, on matters such as loading, discharging, tank cleaning, and grade changes.
• Assist in implementing Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental (HSSEQ) policies, including short onboard voyages for HSSEQ system rollout on new vessels.
• Contribute to periodic management reviews of the HSSEQ system, documenting findings and proposing corrective actions.
• Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, including root cause analysis and follow-up.
• Support the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of contingency plans for both office and vessels.
• Liaise with vessels on safety, navigation, operational, and environmental matters, including responding to monthly safety and near-miss reports.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
• Preferably experienced in Ship Vetting (by Oil Majors), as well as Ship and Terminal Operations.
