Salary: Basic up to $3,800

5 days work week

Responsibilities:
• Daily preparation and production of cake and pastry products sample.
• Perform baking comparison test by incorporating emulsifiers into baked products.
• Creating new product prototypes and recipe formulation including tweaking the taste profiles of the food products as based on food taste test results / experimentation.
• Responsible for the conceptualization, development, testing and scaling of new recipes.
• To conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new products / recipes.
• Ensure good personal hygiene, proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and kitchen tools.
• Decorating finished products.
• Assist in the modification and improvement of baking products to ensure it is relevant to the current needs of the target customer.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma
• 3 years' working experience in the cake bakery
• Passion for baking and positive attitude
• Create and innovative
• Highly motivated, customer-centric, and able to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Possess knowledge of baking skills and techniques
• Maintain a good knowledge of industry trends and changes
