Job Description & Requirements

Nutrify Meals, a meal prep company dedicated to providing healthy and nutritious meals, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about healthy food and has a strong interest in nutrition.

Position: Sous Chef
Salary: $3,000 - $5,500 per month (based on experience and performance)
Location: CityGate Mall, 371 Beach Road (Nearest MRT: Nicol Highway)

Job Scope & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Oversee the hot side of the kitchen, preparing meals using a Rational Combi Oven with
  • Lead Research & Development (R&D) to create innovative, nutrition-focused recipes
  • Manage and guide team members under your supervision, ensuring smooth kitchen operations
  • Conduct inventory tracking to maintain stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure ingredient availability
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline kitchen processes and maintain consistency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Genuine enthusiasm for healthy cooking and a solid understanding of nutrition principles.
  • Proficiency in using a Rational Combi Oven
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling inventory tracking and SOP implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Google Docs for administrative tasks
  • Creative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Work Schedule:
  • Working Days: 5 days per week
  • Daily Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (ending times may vary based on order volume and task completion)
  • Weekly Breakdown:Friday: Prep day
    Saturday: Cooking/Packing day
    Monday: Prep day
    Tuesday: Cooking/Packing day
    Wednesday: Kitchen cleaning/Preparation for next cycle service
  • Off Days: Sunday & Thursday
  • Note: Work on public holidays is required. The company observes two-week breaks during Christmas and Chinese New Year.

Probation Period:
  • First 3 months
