Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily food preparation and mise en place in assigned kitchen section.
  • Execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain food quality, freshness, and temperature consistency.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to avoid wastage or spoilage.
  • Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Work closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Report any equipment or product issues promptly.
  • Perform all other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess Professional Certificate, NITEC, or Culinary qualifications.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
  • Familiar with Oriental cuisine; knowledge of international cuisine is an advantage.
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days per week with dynamic hours - includes morning and midnight shifts.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred.
  • Passionate about food, responsible, and a strong team player.
