Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements
- Responsible for daily food preparation and mise en place in assigned kitchen section.
- Execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and temperature consistency.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to avoid wastage or spoilage.
- Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Work closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Report any equipment or product issues promptly.
- Perform all other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess Professional Certificate, NITEC, or Culinary qualifications.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Familiar with Oriental cuisine; knowledge of international cuisine is an advantage.
- Working Hours: 5.5 days per week with dynamic hours - includes morning and midnight shifts.
- Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred.
- Passionate about food, responsible, and a strong team player.
