Job Description

An established engineering company in the marine and offshore sector is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support project-based finance operations. This role offers exposure to construction contract accounting and close collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly Percentage of Completion (POC) computation, including cost allocation, accruals, and progress tracking.
• Prepare and post journals for construction revenue and cost recognition.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly project summary reports and monitor performance.
• Review and track project cost status with relevant departments.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and compliance with controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a project-based industry (e.g., construction, marine, or engineering).
• Familiarity with construction contract accounting is essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• A team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
