MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\t\t

• \tTo perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

• \tTo supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.

• \tTo check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:

• \tCheck shop drawings submitted by contractor.

• \tCheck as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor.

• \tTo check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.

• \tTo check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.

• \tTo ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• \tPossess Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• \tRegistered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES.

• \tMinimum 3 years' experience as RTO in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, civil, HDB carpark.
