Engineering Specialist (Grinding Department)
Location: Jurong / Bedok

Position: Engineering Specialist (1st Grinding Department)
Salary: $2,600 - $3,000 + Allowance
Working Hours (Shift Rotations):

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Rest Days: 8 days off per month

Job Responsibilities:

Assist daily production processes to ensure efficient operation and product quality

Operate O/D (outer diameter) grinders and side grinders to maintain bearing size accuracy and surface finish

Coordinate parts flow to meet grinding schedules on time

Monitor equipment performance and support maintenance and repairs

Supervise production to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments

Train and guide operators to improve skills and proper equipment usage

Analyze production issues and participate in continuous improvement projects

Manage tools and materials inventory to ensure uninterrupted production

Act as a communication link between grinding, quality control, and maintenance departments

Prepare audit documentation, maintain records, and provide administrative support

Follow safety protocols and contribute to environmental and quality system improvements (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001)

Attend department meetings and follow supervisor instructions for additional tasks

✅ Requirements:

Relevant technical experience preferred; on-the-job training provided

Able to work rotating shifts

Minimum education: Diploma, NITEC or above

Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork skills
