Legal Counsel - Manufacturing | 5+ PQE, Singapore

A leading regional group is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its growing business. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a broad in-house role with a strong emphasis on legal advisory work alongside oversight of core governance and corporate secretarial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Advise on corporate/commercial law, compliance obligations, and risk management.
• Support M&A, restructuring, and other strategic initiatives.
• Oversee statutory filings, board/shareholder resolutions, and governance records.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and overseas subsidiaries.

Requirements

• Singapore qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of corporate/commercial law experience from a top firm and/or in-house.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with solid business judgment.
• Experience in the manufacturing or semiconductor industries is essential.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Mandarin language skills to liaise with regional stakeholders.
• A valid work visa in Singapore.
