Visiting Professor for Integrated Circuits and Systems

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for a Visiting Professor in integrated circuits and systems.
NTU has developed a strong reputation for integrated circuits and systems design. Further development of integrated circuits and systems at NTU includes the development of innovative new technologies, including ultra-low-power solutions for future AI-enabled applications like biomedical implants and smart wireless sensors, positioning NTU and Singapore at the forefront of the integrated circuits and systems industry of the future. In this connection, the School of EEE is looking for a visiting professor who has successfully adapted himself/herself to work in the fields of integrated circuits and systems. The ideal candidate should have strong research experience, achievements and contributions in integrated circuits and systems. He/she is expected to develop strategies for NTU's integrated circuits and systems research and contribute to NTU's effort in bidding for new mega research programs in integrated circuits and systems.
Responsibilities
1. Work with NTU's research team to develop strategies for NTU's integrated circuits and systems.
2. Assist NTU in recruiting promising young scientists and engineers in the area of Integrated Circuits and Systems as faculty and research staff.
3. Enhance NTU's international visibility and impact by helping to promote NTU, as well as helping the School of EEE establish potentially rewarding international exchanges and contacts that would lead to fruitful international research collaborations and funding.
4. Contribute to EEE undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to train students in Integrated Circuits and Systems that are in high demand by the industry in recent years.
Requirements
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
• Full professor in integrated circuits and systems from a reputable university.
• At least 10 years of work experience in electrical and electronic engineering, especially in integrated circuits and systems.
• More than 5 years of managerial and/or leadership experience in university research.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
