Accounting System Management
Financial Operations & Reporting
Requirements:
- Administer and maintain the company's accounting system (Oracle NetSuite).
- Review system entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Monitor system performance and liaise with vendors/IT to resolve technical issues.
- Lead and support system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other platforms.
- Streamline and automate finance processes through optimal system use.
- Establish and monitor internal controls within the accounting system to safeguard data integrity.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Lead, manage and prepare monthly doctors commissions process
- Review and implement doctors commission policies and practices
- Assist in treasury matters including treasury operations, monitoring cashflows and preparing payments
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Support strategic planning, cost analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive leadership.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial policies, SOPs, system and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Process-oriented mindset with an interest in system improvements and technology adoption.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for work improvement and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite will be an added advantage.
