Job Description

One Research Fellow position is currently available in the Department of Statistics and Data Science, National University of Singapore.

The successful candidate will work with Professor Zhou Wang on random matrix theory under a project on Toward Robustness Against Distribution Shift in the Open Environment.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop random matrix theory, especially for sample covariance matrices.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:
- The candidate should have a PhD degree in statistics or related area.
- Candidate with strong background in probability and machine learning would be a plus.

Skills:
- The applicant is expected to develop random matrix theory, especially for sample covariance matrices.

Experience:
- The candidate should have research experience of 2-3 years.
