• Respond to customer and agent enquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Manage carrier negotiations and booking arrangements.
• Monitor sailing schedules and track cargo status.
• Coordinate trucking, stuffing, and cargo handling.
• Prepare shipping documents for exports and imports, including FCL, LCL, cross-trade, and air freight.
• Assist with BL, COO, cargo insurance, PM4, SI, MSDS, and other shipment documentation.
• Track and coordinate shipments with carriers and clients.
• Handle customs clearance and permits as required.
• Send pre-alert shipping documents and invoices to customers.
• Work with accounts for carrier payments and verify vendor invoices against job numbers.
• Report cargo issues and follow up on resolutions.
• Support sales and operations activities as needed.
• Assist with job closing and billing processes.
• Perform general administrative and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
